2004 ram 2500 chime warning system

I am getting spurious chimes when I hit a bump in the road. I am told the only way to troubleshoot this is with a DRB-III scan tool. Very expensive and hard to find. Anyone have any experience with this problem?

Could be the tail light assemblies . They used bad metal on the connection to the bulbs .

Press trip miles button while advancing start key to run.
Cluster will go into a self test and give you C-Codes.
The thread will lead you to the code tables.
Has all sorts or error codes, mostly electrical in origin.
