Well, it looks like my new 2003 will make it here before the 1st of December! I was told by my dealer it woul go into the shipping mode on November 5th. Laramie HO 6-speed QC 4X4 short bed Dark Garnet Red/Silver with Toupe leather interior.

On a nother note; Has anyone received one of these beauties with the "side curtain" air bags?

Dark Garnet is a great color. My 2001. 5 chassis cab is Dark Garnet. I would of seriously considered it for my 2003 if it were a "Sport-able" color. Very sharp though, I like it with the dark agate interior a lot. . Mom liked it so much she bought a Jeep Liberty limited in Dark Garnet (taupe leather, looks great too).

Vaugn Mc.

I checked out his rig. . He says that the color is burgandy and that is what it looks like on my computer... If it is that color, I am not aware of it being offered. You never can tell, if he tried to darken his picture, it could be the reason that it looks different than dark garnett red pearlcoat. .

I do think that that will be my next color with taupe leather:D

Cheers

How about plain ol' white?

It's gets HOT in Texas in the summer. Ever get in a dark colored vehicle that has been setting out in the sun all afternoon when it's 100+ degrees?

My last two were white and the next one probably will be too.

With tinted windows and a properly fitted sunshade, I have noticed no difference in a cars temp at 115 degress here in LAS, It gets Damn hot no matter what color it is.

I have side curtain airbags. My wife insisted on it. Can't really tell by looking at the headliner though. There is a little SRS logo on over the front windows. That is about the only clue.

What amazes me is when it is 105-110F here people park their new black cars with black interiors out in the sun all day long and don't even crack the windows and don't use a sunscreen. You can just image hopping into one of those at 5 in the afternoon

The ventvisors allow you to keep the window cracked open and what a difference that makes on a hot day. With a sunshade in the windshield, you can actually get in the truck. Not sure if the black color contributes that much to the interior temperature though. The windows is where most of the heat comes from.

I tried to get graphite as well couldn't get it on the dually and went with the bright silver metallic. My 98. 5 is black. I love it but what a devil to keep clean. The colors that I could order a couple of weeks ago were: black, white, red and silver.
