2005 G56 transfer case question

on a 2005 G56 transfer case, how much does it hold?

I have been able to put in only 3 quarts in it. I was under the impression it holds 4 quarts.

What am I doing wrong?#@$%!

When I did my xfer case it took 3 quarts to the fill hole. My truck is leveled by 2"s, I make sure it is 2"s nose down when I change the transmission and xfer case fluids to compensate for the leveling kit. The repair manual says it take 2-1/2 quarts, so do many of the other references, Amsoils site says 2-1/2 quarts also.

Oh so I am good then, I got in almost 3 qt's. I had mine on a ramp at the rear since I have a KORE suspension setup and the front is too level.
