2005 Park/Reverse recall fix?

Well I called my dealer and the service dept said I can refuse the recall if I want, just sign a paper. Said he understood the recall was very annoying.



I'd like to know how many people got run over to have the govt try to save us from ourselves... ... ... ... ... ... ... .

I _HATE_ that thing when I am trying to hook a trailer by myself: lean out the door to judge the rear bumper and alignment and then HONK-HONK-HONK!!!



BTW - I have tried leaving the seatbelt fastened and on my 04. 5 it does not disable the alarm...

weird... others have found it does.

If that won't work then post 26 on that link sounds like an idea.

Basically a relay on the horn circuit that opens from the dome lamp input.

It doesn't work on my truck either... ... ... ... ... ... ...
