Who needs a new transmission? A 48RE with TC/VB from any major trans company will take more abuse than a 3rd gen can reliably dish out right now anyways (~500HP)... beyond that a full blown rebuild will make it bulletproof. Personally, I wouldn't WANT a new auto, even if it is a 5 speed... just more complexity and new problems to break and a longer wait before the aftermarket addresses them. If they'd just make the darn thing EB certified.

not to step on Tomeyguns toes here but those guys in CA that wish to order and want a good price let me know, I work for a dealer now (funny enough as the IT administrator) and can hook you up with the businesslink manager who I have arrangments with for TDR members to work out a good price. . Anyone who is not familliar with the businesslink program from Dodge should seriously look at it if you own a small business many things you get.

I don't know Tomeygun you don't think the mineral gray is a little more silverish than the graphite we got a Magnum in with it and it looks a little different not much though. Looks like the SRT-10 is getting 2 more doors and a auto for this year thats kinda cool... .

i like the idea of the 2 more doors, but not the auto... then i'll never see anything but a slushbox version [i can count the amount of trucks on dealer lots with manual trannys i've seen on one hand not including my own]

I was over at the local dealership today checking out the SRT 10 and a 2500 with a mild lift and 35s. It looks like the SRT 10 is running a Dana 60 rear... how did we end up with the AAM axles but they get a Dana!?!?!
