The weather here has been hot, loads of sunshine, some of the most righteous Mopar rides found from all over and well the scenery has been good also. Show classification is a complete and udder debacle and has some guys here at a loss for words,LOL. The classification rules were changed late due to Bloomsburg's Truck show being rescheduled due to recent flooding. The determining factor which they used for delegating a owners truck to "stock" and "modified" was (2) NON-FACTORY installed items. Then you were broke down into years and further brokendown into 2wd and 4wd catagories. Hmm,you may think whats so bad about that, let me provide 2 good examples. TDR Members SWexlin and Antrim93 are placed into the highly contested Modified 1994 - UP Modified class with their respective trucks. Scott's 04 White Dually has only a tonneua cover, gauges and a aftermarket Sirius radio while Ricks 1998 Ext cab has minor motor mods, bigger tires and a AFE intake. They are shoved into a class with me and all the trailered Pimped up lifted gassers and other higher modified trucks. What a deal and a mess...

Ah well enough of that and off my soapbox and on to more prevelant things. The new Challenger was in attendence and has been confirmed for build and what a sweet ride it is. I have some shots of it which I will try and get posted into the readers rig area for you all tommorrow night after I get back. Many TDR members and one past TDR member were seen and chatted with by one or a couple of us. NPutman,Tater,J-Miller,SWexlin,Antrim93,BSwope,JRissler,RBallard,MBarrick,DTroy,HighFinance97,Diesel Dale,MO'Donnell,Liberator Performance and myself. The lone former TDR member seen and chatted with was Mopar-Muscle and it was good to see John as he has been out of the loop for a few years.

Tommorrow will dawn with us all dragging our sore knees and worn out dogs down to see if anyone scored a plaque. For any of us in the heavily contested 94-present 4x4 modified it will be a suprise as with the DodgeTruckWorld lifted gassers here they should clean house. Ramzilla and the guys do have some wild and sharp looking rides which means we need to work harder to compete. Time will tell how we all did and IF anyone of us wins I will post who and what.

I am off for a needed nap, worn out from all the righteous rides, too much walking, way too much talking and looking at scenery which had more curves than a Ferrari could even handle... .

Great writeup, Andy. We REALLY need to get Carlisle to give us a diesel class (or classes - stock and modified). Lil Red Trucka get their own, as do some of the other low volume makes.

There were Cummins spread all over that showfield; it was really a mess.

But, the show was a BLAST anyway! The Challenger is HOT, but I really want that Charger SRT8!

All Carlisle Nationals Wrap-Up...

WINNERS!!!!!!!!!... ...

Yes the TDR did have two, count them,TWO who scored and won awards,RBallard and Tater. Robert Ballards sweet looking Dark Garnet Red 01. 5 is always maintained and kept looking sharp and finally he has wood to show for his work. 1st Place in his class, will I am sure, make his trip in here worth it. Taters sweet looking first genner is always also spotless and he always works hard on it. He recieved a fine 2nd place finsih to show for his hard work and he was happy. The only truck to beat him was the smooth looking 440 shortbed 4x4. The rest of us who were in the hotly contested Modified 4x4 class seen it dominated by the "Outlaws" truck club from DodgeTruckWorld.com with "Ramzilla" taking first. This has made me think that if I can't beat them due to their wild modifications I will pay more attention to the little details and out flank them. Congratulations to them on their showinng and their sweet looking rides.

Congratulations to the winners and I am glad to see our diesel heads begin to win.

Todays was spent by me on a whirlwind tour of the parts area seeing what deals were found. The only deal I found was the very sore feet I had after walking through,LOL. I am amazed at how big this show has gotten and its to the point we need a third day to cover it. During Saturdays show-n-shine they had to move owners a tad closer together just to make cars fit into their respective classes. It just keeps getting better and better.

Well it hard to believe that this has now come and gone. Time passes fast when your out enjoying yourself with other who have the same interests. Maybe next year we could get more diesel heads out to it and I will say if they come once, they will return. I'll slip some shot of the winners in here and some others een there on the grounds. It was nice to see all who stopped by and look forward to next year... ... ... ... ... ... Andy

Oo. Wow I actually won something! Hammer I got your note when I made it back to the truck and took another walk around but I never saw you. I made it there around 7:45am and spent until 10:00am finishing the engine detail. I may have missed it but I need to find a meeting place where the other TDR members corral. Did anyone have a tent? I met three other members while cleaning up the truck.

Thanks for the compliments,

Bob

Congratulations to both Bob and Matt for their respective wins. To anyone who has not attended this show, you would NOT believe the amount and variety of trucks and cars on hand. There were MANY prize-worthy examples.

Hope I will see some of you in 3 1/2 weeks now for the All-Truck Nationals. Let's see if we can get a good TDR showing.

Scott

Here is a link to the pictures that I took which came out. I messed some of them up but most are here. If anyone has anymore they would like me to add to the album let me know by pm and I will see that you get my email address to do it... ... . Andy
