Well it was worth something but now,he is a little overpriced for what is usable.

The axles and transmission(s) also are full of mud and water.



All electrics shot.

What makes you think there was muddy water involved? Think I'll call him tomorrow and see what he has to say.

What I don't like is the missing oil fill cap. Hmm... . wonder what went through there-both during the wreck and since its been sitting outside, undoubtedly in the rain. Red flags are flying over this one.

Well, since I don’t own this rig. Or even know the owner.

I figured the information was free.

We get a lot of this in Arizona, I thought I’d be nice and pass this along.



Note to self: Next time don’t bother, keep the goodies for yourself!



I’ve never heard (read) such a negative response before on a lead for something that was in demand.

Last time I saw a 3-year old cummins engine sell down here it went for $9000.

If anyone knows where to get a new engine for $5000 tell me now!

I wont even bother to repair the damage from the KDP in my 1st Gen.



Also might want to look at a map, I-10 runs throughout the Arizona desert.

Most wrecks like this occur when someone falls asleep at the wheel.

The desert is not all flatland, there are a lot of washes that I-10 crosses over. Most are 3-4 foot deep dry washes (except for 3-5 times a year)

That will roll any vehicle quite nastily at 75 mph (our speed limit)



Did you people even bother to call this guy to find out the particulars?

Or are you all just “posting about” to discourage the other guy while you raise the $$/secure shipping?



Like I said, you don’t have to worry about a next time.

I’ll just stick to the first gen forums.

I would pay the 10g to upgrade my 1st gen, if I had the room for it right now. :{



Nobody ever said this was a running, driving, truck.

No one ever said you could win trophy’s with it.

Who want’s to run around with a restored salvage title?



That’s why, it was put in Pay It Forward, so every one could decide if they needed the parts for themselves.

Not for someone to go “oh, it’s a 3rd gen, it belongs here”



I thought it was quite selfish to move it to the 3rd gen topics.

But hey, whatever, not my forum.....



Maybe there should be a forum for “bird dogging”.
