What I'm saying is they(Honda) didn't extend a warranty JUST TO BE GOOD GUYS. Its ALWAYS a got made/had/found/under the microscope out kinda deal. Theres always a snake in the grass with big business and more so with auto makes no matter WHO they are. I was IN the business 25 years. Imports and domistics. Seen it ALL first hand including the belt tighting when business/profits are down. Seen the memos. Watched BIG GUYS speech on their OWN satellite channel piped in etc. Its ALL about money. The GRASS is NOT greener on the other side. Its just seems so until you move into the neighborhood and take a walk.

I suspect there are a few posts from other sites (DP/DS members), reading over the seemingly propaganda posts in both treads from this unfortunit engine failure. I know its not about warranty issues but do you expect the manufactures to say " Wow I'm sorry you chipped your motor do you need an extra couple of miles under warranty and by the way can we give you free service so your motor will at least last as long as we designed it for, thankyou for your cooperation. " You should sue the dealer who ripped you off and put an end to this once and for all. The loss is stagering if what you say is true and to replace it with an awesome small truck as a Tacoma (I own one) will be for you, but why did you buy such a heavy duty vehicle if a Tacoma would work just fine? I don't want to rock the boat here but your desisions don't make sense
