Anyone purchased the $16. 00 factory service manual on Ebay and if so how is it? Looks like a copy of factory manual CD. I am tired of spending big bucks on manuals but I must have the best as I do all my own repair. I always give them up when I sell the vehicle. I was about to purchase $87 CD from Geno's but then I saw the Ebay one. I have purchased others on Ebay that were fine.

If you are asking if the CD service manual is worth it, I think the CD version is better than the print version because you can print the parts you need, then when they get greasy or torn just throw away. :S

It's posted on the web for free download. I don't have a link at the moment, but you could do a search.

I bought a CD manual off e-Bay and so far I'm pleased with it. The one I got included '04, '05, and '06 (separate sections). I bought a similar manual for my '98 from Geno's and essentially can't tell the difference.

I also bought a CD service manual off of E-Bayfor my 2006 CTD. I think I paid about $40. It has been great so far. It looks just like the ones I used to buy from the printer listed in the back of most owner manuals. It sure beats $300-$400 for the print version. Mine also covers 2004,2005,and 2006. The only problem is that you can't easily flip back and forth between pages and sections. For the difference in price, I can get used to this minor inconvience.

Sounds like these people are downloading them for free and then selling them to you!

Those are the same year manuals on the net for downloading... kinda to coincidental for me...

Those have been up there for well over a year and a half... I downloaded them a long time ago... I thought this was more/less common knowledge??

There were several threads, even on this board, regarding hemitruckclub...

I would download it now and keep it somewhere, no telling how long that link might last. Sure its been there for over a year but some times things get popular and Dodge catches on and makes them remove the link.

None of the links seem to work any longer. Does anyone have a link to a free download of the 2006 Service Manual. Thanks.

I believe ProManuals still offers CD's for '98-'07 1500-3500. (5,9L only) $20. I got one from them
a couple years ago. It took forever for them to ship, but they finally delivered.
