Hey all. After watching countless videos and scrubbing the forums here I am. I have a 2006 RAM 2500 mega cab 5.9 with 280k that I’ve had for about a month. The truck has a slight “lope” or maybe “miss” at idle noticeable through the exhaust when the truck is at operating temp and maybe slightly in the cab. The lope Isn’t really noticeable when the truck is cold. Seemingly no excessive smoke or anything. So far I have: changed fuel filter, added double dose of diesel Kleen, changed FCA (oem) direct from Cummins, had a diesel shop do a balance test where they stated everything was near perfect. Truck has a 4” straight pipe but no other mods I’m aware of. Only other possible symptoms are what may be “rattling” injectors that seems to clears up above about 2k rpm when I get on it. Truck seemingly gets fair mileage (18 on lie o meter) and has great power. The lope has been driving me nuts. Let me know your thoughts. I’ve included a link with a short exhaust video, the lope is most noticeable at the beginning and end. Thanks!
