I have a 2006 dodge ram 3500 mega cab 5.9l. I was driving home yesterday and the truck just cut off cold turkey while driving up a hill in my neighborhood. When heading out it was low on fuel, I filled it up and drove about 30 more miles after fill up. I have a fass 150 transfer pump which is reading 10-15 psi while cranking. My rail pressure is 0. obviously that is a problem. Just wanting to see what additional checks I can do before just parts replacement... Mods that are fuel related are, H&S tuner, fass 150( which I just changed the filters on since the problem came up, and bled the lines in case there was any air in the line), no dtc's. It just turns over as normal without startng. My knowledge of the fuel system past the lift pump hooking up to the cp3 is as far as it goes. Any and all help is appreciated

First step, take the tuner off and go back to stock to see if that changes anything

Disconnect the FCA and see if it will start.

If none of the previous work see if it will start and run with some type of starting fluid so you have an idea where to go next.

Well, finally got time to look into it. Tuner is back to stock. Still no rail pressure. Still have good transfer pump pressure. Cracked the feed line to the rail and bumped it. Of course, no fuel. Only a small dribble. Scannet said the injection pump put out just over 100 psi. Unplugged the fca, no change in pressure. If there is a problem with the cascade valve or relief valve on the rail, will it still make some pressure? Getting ready to pop the valve cover off to inspect the injectors, but at this point I am leaning towards the faulty injection pump. That being said, I don't plan on doing any more engine mods. The stock cp3 doesn't fall off at wot. Would it benefit me, power wise, to go with a modified pump. Or will it just be over kill?

Try some starting fluid and see if that works. If it will start and run, move on to PRV and\or injectors.

If all you are running is a tuner and stock injectors, stock CP-3 is more than adequate.

Hooked the scanner back up after posting. Demanded fuel rail pressure from the ecm was 5117psi. Actual rail pressure was just over 100. Talked to guys at industrial injection and he said if it's getting the signal from the ecm on demanded fuel pressure but not making pressure, it's the pump itself

Don't get ahead of yourself. Yes it could be the pump, but it could also be any other place (PRV, connector tubes, Injectors) fuel can leak internally. Check the easy stuff first before you go spend a couple grand.

Update. Cp3 was bad. All the diagnosing I did still pointed back to it being bad and did from the beginning I just didn't really want to pull the trigger prematurely on the pump. Anyways, bought a new pump from fleece. Installed it and all is well. When I talked to industrial injection about pumps, they said they had never seen a pump just take a dump like that. Fleech said its not common but has been seen. I always seem to be that rare bird it happens so too. Thanks for the help guys
