Leaving for PDR on the 8th. Need anything hauled up there?

I personally love the 3rg gen looks. Just takes some getting use to. The best part of the 3rd gen is that they got rid of the POS vp44. NOW that is something I would never own

You know, I took delivery of my ordered 2002 on August 15, 2001. It is still on the original lift pump and VP-44. In fact, it has never been back to the dealer for anything.

Now, the HPCR hasn't exactly been bulletproof. Aside from some bad injectors, they have had HP fuel pump/regulator problems as well, right??

From the pictures, it does not look like much is changing, including cab size. Ford and chevy may still have bigger cabs.

I am very happy with my Quad so I won't be trading anyway. Oo. :D

This is just my opinion, but I actually like the VP-44. I also think the CP-3 is a good pump. Both of them, however, suffer the same fatal flaw: questionable lift pump arrangements. Just my opinion.

I remain convinced that the excessive VP-44 failures are due to lack of anticipation by Bosch and DC as to the poor/inconsistent quality of diesel fuel in the US - these pumps seem to do far better in various cars in Europe where diesel powerd vehicles are more common, and various government controls assure better quality.

Naturally, that's no comfort to owners here of failed pumps - but we CAN do a great deal to help these VP-44's live a natural lifespan - more/better filters and fuel additives and boosting lubricity of whatever diesel fuel is being used by individual owners...

Actually, an injection pump that can INSTANTLY change timing and fuel volume to the individual cylinders as demands change, is a pretty big step up from the far more limited earlier versions...

I seen the new Mega Cab dodge this week the rear doors looked to be same width as the front and the inside looked big . The headlights look like new chevy lights yuk. I couldn't just jump in and look although the window was down and I wanted turn the key to see the gear selector to see how many speeds it was. But the DCX goon squad was close at hand watching me look it over.

This all happened at a 2006 new car showing to upper employees at The "Infamous" Palace of Auburn Hills that DCX rented out for the day, seen a protype Jeep flareside HD pickup under the cover and a few other ones. I was at work there.

First the crappy new Durango, then they ruin the Dakota to match! WHAT A FUGLY FRONT END!

Also, why is Dodge STILL the only one of the big three to not offer the turn-signal mirrors??

I hate it when a business is happy to be last.

turn signal mirrors? Why is that such a big deal? Make the cab as big as a FERD. They have us beat to a pulp in cab size, and now looks.

3rd gens look good with a lift and at least 35" tires, other than that they're not fit to wear the dodge emblem. JMO

Anyone seen the "new" Charger? 4 DOOR magnum RT, with out the hatch back. ugh. I've said it before, mercedes sucks. Their style is crap and their engineering is *** backward.

I'll keep my 2nd gen until it litearlly falls apart, and since there's no snow here, that should be a LONG time. Long live 2nd gens.
