2006 Speedo Calibration Yet?

Anyone Have Some Info On 06 Speedo Calibration Yet? Im Tired Of Not Knowing What Fuel Milage Or How Fast Im Going. Speedo Is Off And Overhead Is Off So A Cant Even Hand Calc Unless I Take A Gps With Me. I Guess Its My Fault For Spending Extra Money On Fancy Gadgets Like The Over Head Display And Wanting Them To Work Correctly. Oh Well I Still Love My Cummins. Not Too Impressed With The Body.

The only thing I found is the Superchips Flashpaq. Worked perfectly and even on the tow setting, Gives the truck good power increase.

will the star scan tool be able to change the speedo if i know the revs per mile?



any one use the Hypertech 752006 or the super chips tire paq 3836?

Revs per mile won't help you on the 06 with the starscan. You have to find a tire size and gear ratio that will get you close... ... ... . but why bother when you can use a Smarty to do it and make some power to boot.

truth is i just recieved a criminal speeding ticket 23mph over. and if i buy a smarty and show the recipt it might look a little fishy. i have a buddy who might be able to get creative with the recipt ifi buy a smarty through him. whats a decent deal on a smarty? will it work ok with stock intake and exhaust for now?

Yes the smarty or smarty junior work fine on a stock truck

believe me i have seen some powerful smartyed truck out there. but i am not a motor guy at all and dont know what to look out for when i push it hard. so stock was fine for me. my thought was to just put a badass suspensio on the truck and glide through the rough stuff the big motor guys had to slow down for. besides i have been spending all of my $$$ on my rhino an rzr, these i dont have to drive 220 miles to get home.



so i think a smarty jr is for me. it will hopefully get me out of points on my license and put in a driving class with being able to fix the speedo issue i have.

ok i will have to eat my words. i just bought a Smarty for $580 today and installed it set it on catcher 6 and rolled on the coal. woah what an increase.
