Ok I just got a 2006 with a tst power max it is a build date of 3/06 so it is good and it has a southbend single clutch. Ok now for the problems. The clutch acts like it does not like to let go I start it and it wants to inch fwd or I have to put it in to 3rd to get it to go in to gear only sometimes tho. Do I need to replace the slave and master cylinder or is their an adj ? Number 2 when I turn the tst up to 6 it seem to have a stumble on the low end just a half a sec or so then it runs great no code or any thing. Last of all the pyro is way off is their any way to check the thermo couple or do I need to just replace it. By way off I mean that it say 31 at startup and has never got above 800 even on 6 flat footed 5th and 6th gear at 40lbs of boost. I am trying to get this all straight before I put on my wilson intake to give you guys a good write up on it.

Assuming the clutch pressure plate and disc are not damaged and engage normally, you probably have a weak clutch master/slave assembly. An expert recently posted here in TDR advising another member how to bleed the clutch hydraulic system but i can't tell you how. It might need replacement. The throwout bearing could be worn also but it should be noisy if it is.

I don't have a clue and you may not either who built and who installed the conventional flywheel and clutch assembly and whether it is compatible with the factory clutch hydraulics and whether it was properly installed and bled.

The hydros may be going bad. I had a mc drain past the seal and not leak. If I kept my foot on the clutch with it in gear it would take off after 10 seconds. Almost hit a few cars before I parked it amd replaced it with a SB hydro unit.

I was thinking mabey a throwout bearing because it makes noise when the clutch is out but I heard that the southbend were noisy to start with?
