2006 turbo problem

I have a 2006 with an edge box with attitude monitor when driving I have noticed that I can only pull about 24psi of boost and the egt's climb like a rocket. The box derates itself back to stock but the exhaust keeps getting hotter. When I back out of the throttle everything goes back to normal. I have noticed that if I ease into the throttle and let the egt's get up to 1250 boost 24psi and the slowly and power the boost will climb slowly until 33psi then it will shoot up to 38-40 and egt's go down to 1200. My dealer has never heard anything like this and our diesel shop in town is baffled. Can anyone tell me where to start? It only has 45000 miles on the truck.

What level are you on and what do you mean by the box derates itself to stock? I think i would call and talk to EDGE. Is the box new?

It does this on any level except for level 0 which is stock and I have had the box for almost 2 years.

Check to see if your throwing a code. Call EDge. Maybe a problem with the boost fooling, map sensor, call them.

A friend of mine had a similar problem like that and we took off the air filter to find a rodents nest in the air box. Cleaned it out and all was fine again, one other thing has the fuel filter been changed lately ?

Good idea. Sometimes the most obvious and simplest things are so easily over looked.

Just did a complete service. Nothing out of the ordinary. Went to the dealer to day and they say I have bad injectors and cummins is going to stand behind them. But they are back ordered at least 2 weeks or longer.
