2007.5 6.7 Muffler Ellimnation kit

Can anyone tell me if eliminating the muffler on a 6.7 has any noticeable increase in exhaust decibels or is it a waste of time?

I think so, otherwise Dodge wouldn't have fitted it.

No. If all the emission stuff is still in place, there is very little to no difference in sound.

I did the kit on the 12 that I had it was ever so slightly louder not worth the trouble of laying under the truck to remove the muffler.

X3 its has a "little" more deep tone and a hair louder.. you can almost hear it in the cab!

I did my late 11. It is a bit more throaty.

What does it do for relieving back pressure in the exhaust system, any difference there?

i couldnt tell a difference in throttle response, mileage or power. Id say the DPF filter is your culprit for the most back pressure.
