Not trying to start anything like a "Which brand of oil" WAR.
Wanting to replace the u-joints in my 2007, 5.9, G56. One piece steel REAR drive line with 80,000 miles. I can get the OE AAM 1485 replacements. Any better? I tow about 9,000lbs plus 45 gallons +- in an aux fuel tank. Seems like the school is to use solid u-joints. Is there no real good lube-able ones?

For comparison sake, why the Spicer over the AAM? I can get a SET of 2 complete OE, AAM-1485 shipped to me for $49.00
Also, What grease are you guys putting into the joint before assembly?

I don't pregrease the greasable, and the solid ones get LPS extreme lube from an old can I have. The greasable get a lithium lube I have no data on, but it's so slippery that you cant pick up wrenches n stuff when it's on your hands.
