2007 Carlisle "All Chrysler Nationals" & "All Truck Nationals" Roll Call....

All Chrysler Nationals... July 6-7-8



All Truck Nationals... August 3-4-5



For those who are coming to either of these shows there will be plenty of TDR and Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Club members at both shows.



At the Chrysler show we all will be down in the Modified Truck show parking area,except for Scott who will probably show his SRT8 Charger Superbee. The best kept secret of the annual Mopar show is the annual Thursday nite kick-off show held my the local "Mopar Rebellion" car club. Its full of sweet looking cars and trucks and has door prize giveaways all night long. They usually have a DJ on hand and lots of stories floating around also. One never knows who they will see slip into this show to enjoy it. It will be held this yet at the new Residence Inn. . 1164 Harrisburg Pike. . Carlisle,PA . I will add a link to their website below for those who may be interested.



The All Truck Nationals is HUGE and has a HUGE turnout of the nations best trucks,both big rig and pickups. This is a show with lots to do and plenty to see and one will find something for everyone. Most all of our club members usually all enter the "judged" truck competition where they come around and judge the trucks. It usually means better parking and no hills to climb all day,unless you want to:-laf. If you come to this one stop by and say hello I will be where they park the Mild Modified Dodge trucks.

Yep, as Andy said, I'm in, but with the Superbee. And, conveniently, the Residence Inn where the Preshow is shares it's parking lot and grounds with my hotel, the Hampton. I'll see some of you on Thursday afternoon, I hope. I really WAS planning on bringing both the Ram and the Charger, as both are registered, but it's just too much of a logistical PITA.



As for All Trucks, now THAT I'll be there in the Ram! And, as Andy said, enter your trucks in the Competition Class, so we can park together, etc.



Also, another secret is Gate 3 checkin opens at 12 noon on the Thursday of the shows. That's when I check in; it gives you time to see alot of the vendors before the hordes arrive, then I go back to the hotel to check in to my room.

Truck show sled pull was dropped due to the high cost(3x what it cost last year) of the surface and hauling it in they said. I have since found out that it had alot more to do with it than that and will leave it at that. They may return next year and I will keep you posted on that... . Andy

Lloyd, we'll getcha through it!!:-laf Just go to Carlisle's website, pay the $35. 00 (good for putting your truck on the showfield and two people admission), show up early at Gate 3, get your window sticker, and go park in the assigned area.

who do we contact for race sign up?

If your talking about the Friday evening race at South Mountain Dragway there really isnt a sign up. You just show up at the track and enter one of the classes they offer, Street would be a good choice. But whatever you want there may be a trophy class too. If you have any questions call South Mountain this weekend (717) 258-6287 should work.
