Competition New Class?

am i readng right that super street still has to use a 1 ton or smaller oem axle? it says driveline rules are obsolete? servers is breaking ring gears, hows that gonna help

No, the 06 rules say that, the 07 rules say "Driveline:This rule is obsolete"

On ADM, Dieter said there was a typo. In SS they obsoleted the driveline rule, but accidentally left the old Rear End rules (OEM <1 ton axles). He said it would also be deleted shortly, leaving SS with truly open driveline.

re

I think it should make for a good class,I think some of the mod trucks may even drop back to run this class. They still have a limit on the inj. pump,I think. Hey Dave and Nathan have a nice holiday, see you guys soon. Are any of you guys going to tenn. in Jan. ?

yeah we might run stacys truck down (the orange one) one last run before we tear the engine out of it.

I guess i should get started putting rockwells under the old ford and laddering the frame then, lol think that would make a good mod, i mean SS truck?

Redram-Im going down. Ill let you know where we get reservations in the next few days. No need to give me your phone #. Ive wroteit I meen ive seen it on every mens bathroom stall from here to indy. It says something about call for a good time-free male companionship?

I'm kinda at a lose here. Do you pull for the fun of the competition, all the money you make, or going to a party, getting drunk, and letting everybody look at you? What's the big deal at being reconized for 4th place. I don't get it. If the check's good, all is well.

There is no need to redo the rules--- just simply say mod trucks with dot tires

Not quite.

No tube frames, no pulling tires, no 12 cyl pumps, smaller turbos, no tilt bodies, no fiberglass bodies.

If you build it right, you should have virtually no breakage.

Now, we will need one more class of trucks to fill the gaps in performance---what will it be, and where will it fit in? And who will sponsor it?

You sponsor it. Top 5 will be "in the Mohney. " :-laf

"Im guessing no Drag racing rules have been changed yet with the DHRA ?"

Only to meet the needs of the SLOWER trucks in the Pro Steet class.

Neal, just make sure there is a "little" class us southern folk can drive up there and compete in. From looks of last years videos we might have a shot but... ... . that WAS last year. Happy new year guys.
