2007 door lock issue

Is there any way I can make my door locks stop locking when it reachs a certain mph? And also, If you just get out of the truck and don't hit the lock button on the key fob all the doors except the drivers lock. Can it be change so that the other door stay unlocked also. TIA Paul

Did you check the owners manual? My 03 would lock when I hit like 15 mph and I was able to disable that. The doors locking all the time would drive me nuts.

If you don’t do it exactly like the book says it will not work, you have to follow the instructions to the letter.

My manual tells me what to do word for word but it all starts with a menu button on the cluster above the rear veiw mirrior. I don't have a menu button. Any other way to do deactivate these settings?

Any other help on this? I'm trying to disable the horn from blowing when I hit lock on the fob. Procedure says to hold lock button 4-10 sec, then hold the panic button and then release both at the same time. But it doesn't tell you how long to hold both before you release both. :{

its been talked about. . the '07 5. 9s have had issues with the remote turn off honk thing. . i had to have the dealership turn mine off when i took it in for an oil change... the '07. 5 6. 7's have a menu button on the overhead w/more options then the pre '07. 5's... i think the '07's (5. 9) should have came w/the new over head display. . see pic below
