I purchased a new 2007 3500 Megacab Laramie PKG with Nav. I am disappointed at how NON-User friendly the nav unit is. No touch screen, Knobs to turn to input data etc. I bought a Garmin c550 for my wife's car, and it is a dream to operate compared to the $2300 P. O. S. in the Dodge, and only cost $299 on Walmart.com. I don't recommend the Nav unit if anyone is ordering a new truck.

Just my $. 02

Agreed, got it in my 2006 and it is not user friendly at all. I use my Nuvi 350 more than the stock unit. Funny the mopar is the most expensive of the stock Nav units yet somehow is one of the worst...

Wow!!! $2300 for the Nav in 07. I have a 06 I ordered and the Nav was only $1500 and $300 for the bluetooth. Are they different. I do not have to turn any knobs. I do have a little joystick though.

If you think the Dodge is bad check out the GMC one. My wife has a 08 GMC Acadia with the touch screen Nav out of their trucks and the Cady's. It is always smudged and dusty. Some times you have to touch the letters or functions several times to get them to go or you get the one next to it by mistake. It is a lot harder to use than the Dodge one IMO. The Dodge is a lot more accurate than the GMC , shows more small side roads and is closer to where you really are. The GMC one gives you a three or four house, look for it type thing "your destination is on the left" ya, three houses later. The Dodge take you to the door if your not speeding threw the neighborhood.

I have one in my 08 and love it joy stick control is easy to use and being built in to dash less to get stolen {JMO }
