Anyone have a good location in the So. Calif area to do a gear swap on my front and rear diffs? I have 3. 73s w 15,ooo miles, I did a Carli 2. 0 Lift w upgrades and 35" tires... I also tow a 2009 Keystone Fusion Fifth wheel Toyhauler 35' at 12,000 lbs plus... The truck pulls well, however, 4. 10s or even 4. 56 would be a better way to go... Any help would be greatly appreciated... :)

I have the 4. 10 with the stock tires + it's right for me. Don't know what that would translate to with your tires.

I live in Santa Paula - Tarango's always did a good job for me. They service all kinds of big diesel stuff - tractors, fire service, etc. Honest + busy enough that if you don't need it they don't do it.

cool... . Thanks Guys... Anyone else w a good ring and pinion shop? I am lookin for putting in the 4. 10s in before June

I am also planning a gear ratio change. Are you going to have to make any programming changes with the swap? My swap should be done in the next 7-10 days. The shop has the gear sets on order along with the mini install kits. Let us know how it goes...

I will post up when I get it done... I will buy a Smarty to reprog the speedo with the tire and gear ratio input... I still have to get the truck to the dealer for the J35 flash next week... . after that flash I am gettin my truck ready for another long distance towing/camping trip...
