Well...

The time draws near for two of the best shows the East has to offer,The All Chrysler Nationals and The All Truck Nationals. They are held each year in Carlisle,PA at the Fairgrounds and are two shows everyone should have on their calendars. I will drop a note about each and the dates and place a link to the Carlisle website for those who may wish to come.....

All Chrysler Nationals... . July 11th-13th

Carlisle Events All-Chrysler Nationals. Experience The Cars. The People. The Excitement.

The show field is a "fun" field and your judged by your peers. Its usually a grueling walk throughout heat the Saturday afternoon to do the judging but its worth it. Most of us all are placed into the modified class with our trucks due to their rules of "4 visible changes".

There is usually a Pre-Carlisle Mopar show held by the local club "Mopar Rebellion" ( Mopar Rebellion Home ) and its going to be held at the old place again,Cumberland Valley Motors used cars. This show is on Thursday night and begins about 4pm and goes to ?????????. Its amazing who and what you see and some of the rides. I am going to attend this again as I have done in years past.

All Truck Nationals... . August 8th-10th

Carlisle Events All-Truck Nationals. Experience The Cars. The People. The Excitement.

This is a show where they have both "judged" and "non-judged" trucks in attendence. I have been informed that judging this year will be drive-up like it was last year and those of us who went know what a PIA that was,LOL. This show is so BIG you almost can not cover it in a weekend of walking as there is way to much to see and do. And for your entertainment purposes on Sunday the PALMRA(PA Lawn Mower Racing Association) will hold a race on at Carlisle. If nothing else its a good laugh and should amuse everyone,LOL.

The Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Club will be on hand at both events. Some of us will not have their trucks at the Mopar show but will be there with their other rides. I know Timebomb,Tater and his Dad and myself will be at the Mopar show with our trucks and that means we will be high on the hill somewhere. SWexlin and Jmiller will have their cars at the show and will be down on the bottom. For the truck show the club has paid to recieve a 20x20 tent and reserved parking. We will be there and it allows both the judged and non judged trucks to park together. Stop by and say hello if your there.

If anyone would like to register for the truck show with us and park with us,give the clubs name (Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Club) and drop me a note so I can keep count of how much parking we may need. If we get 25 paid members there the club will be reimbursed for the tent. Also if anyone desires to join us for dinner on Saturday of either show we are going to try and go out as a club to eat,so we will be taking ideas for food.

So who is going to which show and on which days???... ... ... Andy

What Andy said. Both of these are great events - come on out.

I'll have the Charger at the Mopar show (our Mid Atlantic Charger Club paid for a tent), and of course, be there with the truck for All Trucks.

I will be there, however it will be with a 2002 neon R/T (70-340 car is a pile of parts) but I would like to meet up with some TDR CTD peeps.

My buddy goes down for the all truck show. He gets a room in Harrisburg, right off 81. Just as you start across the bridge over the river, down to the right is a hotel on the river, he stays there. Close, but not packed like in town.

Andy i just Registered for all trucks... .

Do we have a head count yet????

Not a total one yet... .

Looks like about 10-15 so far unless a few straggle in.

Chrysler show looks like just a few of us.

Good Luck In Stoneboro Picaso... ... . Andy
