from the bed forward i like it [needs body color front end though] but those bedsides are ugly and something isn't right with the tailgate. looks too tall like the ford f150's
I don't mind the front end, but the cab is horrible. The doors have no curves or body lines, but the bed and fenders do. It looks wierd to me.
Also, I can't believe they refuse to make a real off road package with some ride height. It would be awesome to see a SFA under a chevy again - these low riding IFS trucks are just too "soccer mom" for me.
Ditto - the solid axle 4x4 fits my perception of what a truck should look like... I'm glad Dodge and Ford continue to provide the "low tech" workhorse solution.
Being one of those who thinks the current generation Silverado is hideously ugly, I think the '08s are a huge improvement in looks. You guys are right about the bed looking a lot like a Colorado - I hadn't noticed before.
From the back, the look like those Nissan trucks to me. I think the current ones look better. Though I'd still buy a GMC instead. And what the hell is with that roof rack
Man, that is some kind of ugly. I didn't think GM could stoop much lower than when they changed the front end on their trucks back in '03.
As far as gas-powered vehicles go, I have always been a GM man, but if I buy another gasser truck in the next few years it dang sure ain't going to be that thing. GM just lost my truck business for another body generation. . .
