I just hope the dash/interior is a better design. (less hard plastic)

It would be pretty hard to have a worse interior than the current trucks. A ten minute test drive sent me and my wife running to our 01 and 90. They were both more comfortable. I do notice the Tundra and F150 influences, but I think it looks better than either. It looks far better than the current trucks. The only good looking thing on the 3rd gens were the early headlights and taillights. More aggressive than 2nd gen, but not as clean looking.

That is gonna be my new truck in about three years, I like the built in storage, as long as I can still use my toolbox. The bigger back seat, and the sportier front end, also fender flares, I think it looks like a winner. I will be keeping my current truck indefinetly, but my next CTD might look like the thing in those pics, with a longbed of course.

The '09 Heavy Duty's will retain the current styling. The Heavy Duty's won't get the re-style until 2010 MY. Chevrolet has done this for years, and dodge picked up on it too, and I guess it worked great. Makes it hard to find parts at the auto part store after a few years have passed though. Oh well, 'tis life.



I'm gonna get one. I like it.

Looks like the grill stays when the hood goes up. I'm not a big fan of the current grill attached to the hood

that pic is of the mega cab. Have a buddy that saw the body sitting at the Fenton plant. He works for a supplier for chrysler. Bed he saw didn't have the cargo box on it though.

My dealer came back form the Las Vegas meeting and said the body changes will be on the 1500, not the heavy duties. MCummings is right according to my dealer.
