2010 2500 diesel "Needs" that 3500 tailgate light!

On my 1998. 5 ram 2500, I installed the 3500 tailgate light, and filled it with LED lamps... . It looked AWESOME!

I now want to put the tailgate lights from a 2010 3500 on my 2010 2500...

Does anyone have the part numbers forthe parts to install this?

Also, my 2500 did not come with cab clearance lights... and I want to install the OEM lighs as well... .

Same question about the Kit part number.

The 2010 does not have the clearance lights on the tail gate, they ware mounted on the bed below the tailgate.

I'll have to look for any pictures... but I doubt it... .

I follow a 2010(?) 3500 to work all the time, and he has a tailgate light in the middle of the tailgate.

I guess I'll have to go check one out at the dealer.

If I recall, the last year of the tail gate light was 2004, then they went under the tailgate

Ordered the OEM Cab clearance lights from Lee parts!

Ordered the OEM 3500 Tailgate marker. (Found the kit on ebay) P/N 55277299AA.

Thanks for the help..... Now to work up the nerve to drill holes in my Roof!!!!!!

I ordered my megacab 3500 roof light delete. extra holes in a truck roof, is like extra holes in a boat bottom. seal them well and wait for the eventual leak. i went against my better judgement and went with a sunroof. it leaked immediately until i found that the drain tube was kinked in the a pillar at the factory..... someone was pulling the zip ties too tight and crushed the tube. restricted the drain flow in leaked in certain situations...

My 05 3500 dually also has Light on the tailgate. If my truck didn't already come with all the clearance lights, I wouldn't install them. I don't particularly like them, but the DOT want them there.
