Hey all I'm new to this page and have a question. I bought a 2010 3500 from a dealer. They said it has a single 40 horse H and S tune on it but the t I ner isnt in the pickup. The dpf and cat is all deleted and the egr is supposedly turned off but i haven't taken it out yet. I want to know what the best tuning is for my year, and whatever I get can I plug it straight in and have it override the H and S or do I have to have it flashed back to stock to do that?

First off, my suggestion is to find a diesel shop that can flash you back to a factory stock tune, then in my opinion CTT TUNING in Canada is by far the best. They don't do sound tunes to draw attention and all tunes are set for mileage and reliability vs shear power and speed. Most tuning delivered within a couple hours and the hard parts probably a week.

If nothing else at least reach out to them and see what they can do for you. I have EFI LIVE with them and will be swapping to Ez lynk next year as the data logging and remote help is far faster and superior to EFI LIVE and you can get extra gauges on a phone or tablet/ipad. So I recommend starting with Ez lynk and the unlimited package.

To the mods I am not pushing a product just my opinions and who I have worked with directly and know how they can support a customer.

HPTuners should be able to grab an ECM image with the deletes intact, then a new tune can be loaded keeping deletes.

It worked on a 07.5, it *should* work on any of them. Maybe the locked ECM's won't be as easy, all you can do is try.

I did it on an S67 ME. Grabbed the image with HPT, set the S67 back to stock, loaded the HPT image back and the deletes stayed. Have loaded multiple programming chnages so far and it is still deleted.
