2010 Cab Noise?

Anyone experience an annoying rubbing/thunking noise on their new truck? I have a 2010 crew cab that has developed a rubbing noise near the drivers door while traveling over rough roads. I've tried to rock the truck while motionless but can't duplicate the sound. Not sure if its something in the door itself or if it has to do with the moulding or latch? My 01 probably had all sorts of noises I just couldn't hear them over the engine noise! Any suggestions?

Just got a 113500 and haven't heard anything strange but I will keep a ear out .

My dash rattles at all speeds, most noticeably around 1700-1800 rpms. Would like to get it fixed but not sure I trust a dealership to fix anything, and it doesn't hurt performance.

Check the latch bar bolted to the door frame. It is adjustable by loosening the torx screws and moving in or out and up and down. You have to look at it carefully while closing the door and you can tell whether it seems high or low.



You should be able to take it to the dealer for adjustment.

I detected a rattle at times and finally realized it was the can of window cleaner rattling around in the storage box in the back seat floor board compartment. Before I had a roll of paper towels in there with it and no noise.
