i have a noise like a ticking sound at startup until engine is warm. any thoughts? i believe it is belt / belt driven component related.

There are two pulleys that could be suspect. The first is the tensioner pulley located on the pass. side of the engine about half way down. That was where my noise was coming from. My tensioner pulley made a loud squeaking noise, especially when it was cold out. Then it would go away. The second is the idle pulley locate on top of the motor almost in the center. You can try to spray a little wd-40 on the tensioner/idler pulley to see if it goes away. I bought a new pulley from Geneos for around 14 bucks and changed it out, problem solved.
