2010 Integrated Brake Controller

I've read most of the posts on our website re: troubles with the IBC on our 2010 trucks. It seems like the Ram people made some software changes on the 2011 and up trucks that made the thing work, but what about our 2010's?



All of the 2010 information ends with either the owner ripping out the IBC and installing an aftermarket BC or just plain frustration with the dealer and their inability to fix this thing for us.



Is there a fix for Ram? Has anyone had a dealer sucessfully repair the thing? Or, is the only solution to pull the stupid thing and go buy and aftermarket unit?

I may be wrong but I don't think they can do anything for you. The 2012 was the year for the IBC that works. I was prepared to install the Max Brake before I found out about the 2012 IBC. There were a lot of threads on this topic, a search may answer your question. Sorry I can't be more help.

the maxbrake is the only way to go. the ibc and other controllers are unsafe junk toys compared to the maxbrake

I Believe 2010 was the bad yr my 11 IBC has worked Great every time I hook up to any trailer I have Pulled never had a issue with it not working but I have heard alot about the 10's and some of the 11's not working properly .
