I'm selling my 2010 2500 Mega-Cab. It's got the 6. 7 CTD with the 68RFE transmission. I've put the KORE RECON suspension system on it and love. You will too! I've also done the EGR and DPF Deletes with the Smarty JR6. 7ME programmer. The tires are Nitto Dura-Grapplers (285/75/17). It's a Laramie so it's got all the interior comforts including the backseat video system, Navigation Sytem, U-connect, the 730 Alpine system and a subwoofer. Leather heated and cooled seats and more. It's got the sector shaft steering stabilzer and the adjustable track bar upgrade. Line-X Bed liner, tinted windows. I love this truck. I'm only selling to keep my two little girls in private school.

Drop me a line and I'll answer any questions I can. -- email address removed -- or (404) 456-7064

I'm asking $36,000 (I'm flexible on the price but you gotta see and drive this truck to appreciate fully)

WARNING, WARNING! Do you remember those loose fitting parts emission parts that "fell" off your truck forcing you to buy that Smarty programmer to stop it from throwing codes? I hope you were able to find them and you picked them up as they fell off. You will need them to sell it to anyone who knows that they have to be on there to be legal. The word is that the FEDS are cracking the whip now on the manufacturers of said programmers and bypass kits. If they drop your name as being a purchaser of said equipment you might have to divert your private school funds to pay the man. Good Luck.

While there are alot of people that would be afraid to purchase a deleted truck, there are also ALOT of people who prefer them. I would be interested to know how many people on this site alone are running deletes, probably more than one would think. It may be a different clientelle, but I doubt the op will have any harder of a time selling it either way.

Diesel, I agree with you that there are a lot of people that would prefer them not being on there. I'm not new to hot rodding. But since he is a new member he may not be aware that there is a move to stop tampering with emissions. It would be to his benefit to retain all the parts that were removed in case he has to foot the bill to put them back on.

Dealer will NOT work on a deleted truck. If you have smog checks you cannot register the truck. Their are fines for deletes. I would not give 25 percent of book on a deleted truck. Deletes mean it was raced and drivin hard. I suggest you put t back stock....if you were keeping this truck, then it's yours. Fines start at 2500.00.... But don't sell this to an unknowing buyer. They will have one heck of a hard time getting it registered.

Well, the above may well be true....sometimes, some-places. In my neck of the woods there's no problem registering or having dealership work performed on deleted trucks. It all depends on local air quality issues and steps taken by local governments in an attempt to meet Federal compliance guidelines.

That said, it's always smart to keep any pollution control devices removed from any vehicle. Laws are only going to get more stringent with enforcement where that's currently not the case.

Good luck with the sale, looks like a nice truck.

Added in Edit: just noticed this thread originated 3 years ago...I suspect the trucks long sold but the recent comments are valid.

I still own the truck. I currently live in TN and had no problem registering the vehicle. Which I was surprised with because I did have to go through an inspection. They ran the VIN and sniffed the exhaust but all was good.
I currently have over 215,000 miles on it and I'm glad it never sold.

I do have all the stuff I took off as I'm aware of the cost implication if caught or if I ever intend to sell or trade in. The truck was never hot-rodded. In fact, I can assure you that the skinny pedal has never even touched the floor (except when resetting oil change light with the engine off). I did the "upgrades" that I did for mileage. Bone stock on stock tires, the truck got about 15.5 MPG average. When I put the KORE system on and the 34" tires, my mileage dropped to less than 12. I did the "upgrades" and my mileage (average) climbed back up to the high 15s. I'm running 35" TOYO MTs now and I still get an average of just over 15 mpg.

I don't plan to sell it any time soon...just never took the time to take the ad down. But if I ever do, I would certainly disclose all modifications to the buyer.
