2010 megacab laramie uconnect ipod

just bought the above truck. it has the u connect. how do i get an ipod to work with it? i dont want to go into the aux in jack, i am interested in how they connect together. anyone done it?

my truck came with a short cable that plugs into the upper glove box and the ipod then the light on the radio will light up and your in business.

Second that. There is a port on the left side in the upper glove box and the adapter cable to hook to the ipod was in my lower glove box.
