2010 ram 3500 heated seat issue

Has anybody had a problem with heated seats? I turn it on the drivers side the light comes on for about 5 seconds and turns right back off, sometimes you can shut the truck down restart and it works. Any ideas? There are a lot of wires under the seat an none seem to be pinches!

That's funny, mine did the same thing today. Happened 2 or 3 times and nothing since. Driver's side too. I thought it might be the cold weather and moisture getting into one of the connections under the seat that might cause it to short out. Let me know if you figure it out.

My 06 does the same thing?????? I unplug it and reconnect and seems to be fine for awhile?? Dealer checked it for me and could never find any codes?? Best part is, it quits workin on the coldest days of the year.

I found out today that if it is cold enough to make the glow plug come on my drivers haeted seat will not come on. it was wormer in the afternoon it started to work. this mornong it was wormer & the seat came right on. figure that i have come to the conclusion that the glow plug has something to do with it.
