Hey guys, I found a 2010 Laramie with Nav & backup camera. I was just curious if the cameras in this year of truck were any good? I know the camera I had in the '11 I had was fairly good. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

73000 Nav & backup camera trouble free miles in my signature truck. Only thing I would like to change about it is having the ability to turn the camera off when backing a trailer at night otherwise its great.

Other than taking out a small bank loan to fill it. :{

I really like the combo box plenty of room for tools and recovery gear. It sure is nice on trips to bypass fuel stops. When towing our rolling shack it increases my range to approx 1200 miles.

The only bad thing I have found is the gage (at least on mine) is prone to moisture inside. To fix I took the gage off and drilled 2 small holes, one each side. Then used a hair dryer to blow warm air through it. When it was dry inside I filled the holes with silicon. Should have used an epoxy and covered the whole gage cause the moisture is back.

bedroc,

You should be able to turn the camera off, I can on my Town & Country. I think it is under "settings", then select "camera". If you can't get there give me the code (RER, etc. ) that is on the front of the radio and I will get you a link to the instructions.

Mike.

mwilson,

I do have the RER model, you are correct about being able to disable the camera under the setup menus. What I was wishing for is a stand alone switch to disable without having get into setup menus each time.

Thanks
