Add rear camera, have cargo camera.

I recently purchased a 2018 ram 5500 Laramie, It has a cargo camera in the headache rack. Is there a way to add a camera to the rear of the flatbed as the cargo camera won't be of much help once the truck camper is loaded. I am willing to relocate the existing camera if that's an option.

I found a camera at camera source.com that plugs into the factory camera with a switch so I can put one at the rear and keep the one in the headache rack. Other than having to take the dash apart and figure out how to get the wires back there it wasn't too bad. The upfitter switches came in handy.

Since you have the cargo camera you likely have the 8.4 radio, which means your truck should just need the backup camera plugged in at the rear frame. The camera probably came with the truck from the factory, but sounds like you didn’t get it with the used truck.
