Looking at the electrical connection on the front of the "bird brain controlled" viscous fan on my 2010 diesel 4X4 and wonder what the procedure is for getting the old serpentine belt off and the new belt on without disassembling the radiator shroud and fan unit.
Looks like you'd have to have Keebler Elf hands to unplug that particular connector...so there must either be a trick or some disassembly that doesn't look very intellectually satisfying.
The CD based manual doesn't seem to address any of this...and simply tells you to remove the tension on the belt and remove...then install the new one in reverse order. Not a big fan of these new CD based manuals...that's for sure!
Anyway, if you've suffered through this belt change yourself, I'd love to hear about any short cuts or misery I'm in for when I change this belt.
