I need the location of the block heater plug or cord plug in location for a 2011 larmie longhorn. I need more clues. Passanger side, under the intake, where? Thanks, Paul

Its possible that you don't have one, they where an option. I looked for it on my 2011 and all I have is the element

Thanks for the replies. Nothing around the tow hooks. If I happen to find the element can I just plug a regular extention cord into it or does it take a special plug in? Knowing where the element is might be another helpful clue. Paul

No it's a special block located behind the oil filter.
I have the bumper mounted plug from Genos if you're interested.
I bought it when I had a '10, but never installed it.
I just found it again today and was about to list it.
I'm not too far from you either...

Mine was pretty tucked in up above the right side tow hook. I looked all over and didn't see it. Then while changing the oil I recognized the cord coming off of the heater unit in the block, traced it up front and found the cord behind the inner bumper metal above the right hook.
