My friend's mom used to make venison jerky and grind some of it up for ground venison. Made delicious chili!

We use venison in just about everything. I really find it delicious when my wife puts it in my omelets.

I always wondered what mathematically-challenged person came up with "western count" and just how many fingers and toes they were missing AND WHY THEY WERE MESSING WITH BEAR TRAPS IN THE FIRST PLACE? :-laf



Those are dandy bucks by any count and would be cause for me to go to full draw every time. I do our own processing and everything that isn't a roast or chop or steak gets cubed into stew meat for the crock pot. I do like grinding some for chili and meatloaf when I can lAy my hANDS ON A GRINDER. tHE PROBLEM WITH VENISON JERKY AND STICKS IS THAT IT DOESN'T LAST A WEEK BEFORE ITS ALL EATEN.

We do our own processing too. When we're done, it's tough to find a scrap of meat left on the carcass. Nothing joes to waste.
