Hello All,

I just bought a 2012 Laramie with nav. I am wondering if it has blue tooth audio. I noticed that the Uconnect works quite well. The reason I am curious is because I was using google maps and it was giving me the directions through the radio. I would love it if I can use the bluetooth from pandora and not the aux port. The aux port is easy to use. But if I can use the bluetooth it would be much cleaner.

Yup, Bluetooth will link, that said I use the USB plug in the upper glove box as long trips and calls puts a hurting on the battery, can post pics if anyone cares to see

I stopped using my IPod because of how well the Uconnect works. I sync all my music to my Android and play it via the bluetooth connection. Plus, you can control the playback (pause/play, track skip/repeat) from the head unit.

Basically, it'll play any audio that comes from the phone (music, movies, Pandora, maps, etc).

It's actually a pretty cool head unit. The navigation part kinda stinks (I expected more from Garmin), but the rest of the features work pretty well.

My Nav is the older radio, but I set it up with a Lockpick so I could listen to my music on my iPhone. I never could understand why a $2500 option wouldn't have an aux jack, but it didn't and Uconnect doesn't have the ability like bluetooth, so I installed the Lockpick. The benefits of the Lockpick also include the ability to watch video and when I downloaded the Dashcommand app, I was surprized to find out it had video out capability that would then be displayed on the Nav. The first picture is Dashcommand and the second is Robert Palmer music video "Addicted to love".

Sorry, still learning about the blue tooth. I have the phone set up. Talk on the phone all day. But how do I set up the blue tooth for the use of pandora?

I don't believe there is blue tooth on Dodge radio's, at least not mine anyway. At least you have USB to connect to, I had to install Lockpick so at least I could listen to my iTunes.

The phone functions and Bluetooth streaming audio are two separate things. Any Bluetooh-enabled phone should have the basic calling capability, since that's no different than the function of an earpiece. But not all phones support the AD2P (I think that's the right letter combination) advanced audio protocol, which is what sends everything else. Basically, if your phone is AD2P enabled, it will show up as a choice on the AUX page on the head unit. Then, whatever your phone is playing will be piped through the radio. If it doesn't show up there, you probably don't have the capability on your phone.
