NEED HELP!!!!!!

I think i screwed up my gauge cluster!!!!. i was reading that if you pull the gauge out you can open it up and see what kind of lights you have and change them out to different colors. I wanted to try this so i started opening everything up after pulling gauge cluster. I quickly
realized that i was in over my head. I put everything back together the way I had thought it came out and now when i turn truck over everything works EXCEPT the battery gauge and the fuel level gauge. I know i have about 3/4 and my batt gauge sits about 13v.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Your probably going to have to pull it out and send it to a repair station that can fix whatever you broke. Digital Auto Tech in California has fixed some older 3rd gens that I've owned but I don't know of any shops that are fixing 4th gen clusters. You will probably have to call around.

You mite want to try getting a factory manual (probably only comes in cd disc) or you mite be able to download it to your computer. You will want to make sure it has the wiring schematics in it.

By the way are connectors involved with each gauge ? And were the battery gauge and the fuel gauge close together? You mite just need to switch connectors or put wires where they belong.

Don't know where the input to gauges are coming from pcm computer module or ecm but I am sure where ever they are coming from the input signal is not the same for both gauges.
