OK, we all know it is time to submit your photographs for the 2012 TDR Member Calendar Contest. You simply email them to rpatton@ix.netcom.com or call Robin at the TDR Office to request an ftp uplink if your file size is too large to email.

But I personally challenge you to post photographs here of trucks that WILL DEFINITELY NOT win the 2012 TDR Member Calendar contest.

No prizes for this one, just a few chuckles.

So get your cameras out and shoot some photos for the real calendar. And if, by chance, you have some not so great shots that might evoke a chuckle or two, well post them here.

Be proud of those trucks!

Robin

Thanks Robin,

Sad to say beyond repair. Tore the cab from the mounts (shoved it over to the frame) bent the frame (both rails) 18" AND launched the truck and me 25 FEET sideways into someones front yard. Oh, almost forgot, I had a bed I was moving in the back it landed 50' away. Dimwit in a Ford F350 hit me (he ran a stop sign) doing 60 mph. He never saw the sign or touched the brakes!

Believe it or not we all walked away from both trucks. Ambulance wasn't even called to the scene. I ended up with a bruise on my leg from the steering wheel!

Forgot this best of all, I could actually start it and drive it out of the road!

Went kinda crooked but it went under it's own steam!

Robin, I was just thinking... ... ... oops caught myself, anyway why not have a calender with a theme so to speak!

Wrecked trucks, pulling trucks, drag trucks, dirtiest trucks?

Something a little different than the typical calender "glamour" shots.

Just an idea, something different.

Have a good weekend.

Down and dirty and at work would be great. We just don't get a lot of those shots submitted. We mostly get "glam" shots - where owners (understandably) polish up the truck and stage it with a nice background. If you snap some really good work truck shots, please send them to me!

nothing more calendar worthy than hauling a broke down dodge. (darn unit bearing). i also think the 01's tailgate was a great background for my son's first birthday pictures. :-laf
