I am not impressed that Dodge has put 17" wheels on the new trucks. This being said, I am looking to put 19.5" Aluminum wheels for all 6. I am inexperienced in this arena. I have a 2013 3500 with the Asian transmission and 4.10 rears. I do not like wheel adapters, so will stay direct fit. Most likely will put on 245/70/19.5 tires on, recommendations on drive and steer tires are more than welcome. I would like to know the specific #'s (rim offset for the Dually's/center hole Diameter/lug nut size, etc.) Also, what companies make direct fit rims. I really like the Alcoa Dura-brites, but I do not think they are made for direct fit. Do Ford or Chevy share the same Wheels? I would greatly value all your opinions!!

I am not 100% sure the inside duals can be Aluminum. I am also very open to used wheels which is why I wanted to know the different #'s above to know what to look for.

Thanks, Fear This: Cummins!!

The only direct, factory fit 19.5's made for our trucks are from Rickson. It was this way 3 years or so back when I upgraded. There are Vision wheels that were aluminum and close, but did stick out further than stock requiring fender flares to be correct. This was for a SRW but I didn't find any factory offset rims at that time for either SRW or DRW. 3 years may have changed that. Rickson does recommend on their site steel wheels for inner dually's. Iirc, it saves money over the aluminum wheels and the stud length would have to be increased on the truck for two aluminum rims together.

I ran Bridgestone's as they had the highest weight rating and were mud and snow rated. I never ran them in the mud or snow but I can't imagine that it would perform any where near my all terrain tires I had on the stock wheels. I never had one issue with the tires in 3 years, they rode great and now another forum member here is hopefully enjoying them as much as I did. They did "sing" to me on the road but nothing annoying at all. Definitely quieter than pure mud tires for sure.

If you want to do it once, do it right, and not do it again, call Rickson. They are not the cheapest but you will get the tires off of the truck, bolt them on, and never worry about them again for the next 100,000 miles.

Yes check with Rickson. They will get you what you need. You could check with your local tire shop too, if they are good they should have 19.5" options too. I am running the Vision Wheel 19.5" Aluminums on my truck as you see in my sig. I like them lots so far altho the steering takes just a little to get used to with the harder rubber 19.5s.
