Sunday, June 2nd, my daughter and I left out for Dry Prong, LA to deliver an Arctic Cat Wildcat and then on to Slidell, LA to deliver a new GatorMade trailer. I'm guessing the Arctic Cat at around 1400 lbs and the spec-built GatorMade 7k trailer at about 1500 lbs. Sure----this is no weight for what these trucks are rated for, but at least I have a little info to share about my hand-calculated experiences.
The truck was delivered to me with 13 miles on it. Most of the trip I had the cruise set between 66 and 68 mph, varying it from time to time as I have a lot of my brand new trucks.
Tank #1 : 387. 6 miles traveled, 30. 331 gallons consumed, 12. 779 hand calculated, 13. 5 per EVIC, 10:29 hours elapsed, 36. 9 average miles per hour.
Tank #2 : 384. 4 miles traveled, 29. 610 gallons consumed, 12. 982 hand calculated, 14. 3 per EVIC, 5:58 hours elapsed, 64. 4 average miles per hour.
Tank #3 : 404. 3 miles traveled, 29. 047 gallons consumed, 13. 918 hand calculated, 15. 9 per EVIC, 8:16 hours elapsed, 48. 9 average miles per hour.
Tank #4 : 555. 5 miles traveled, 31. 709 gallons consumed,
17. 518 hand calculated, 19. 7 per EVIC, 8:49 hours elapsed, 63. 0 average miles per hour.
Tank # 4 was completely empty, unloaded miles. The A/C was in use all of the time. My truck turns 1750 rpm at 68 mph. My overall stats on this 1870 mile trip was 14. 348 mpg and 51. 6 average mph.
I'm more than impressed with the performance and fuel economy of this truck this early on. I'm looking forward to getting my new B&W gooseneck installed soon (ordered this week) and getting some real weight behind it so I can break it in a little quicker. The DEF gauge is maybe one needle width below the 1/2 mark.

I made another hauling run on Friday, June 7th. I delivered two 14 foot 14k tag style dump trailers (one stacked on top of the other). I *thought* I had pictures, but apparently my CF card was full

. Anyway, the trailers weighed in at 3900 lbs each / 7800 lbs total; the second trailer stacked on top was more of an issue from an aerodynamic standpoint than the weight. Upon dropping off, I hitched up to a 16 foot utility and a 14 foot utility stack that were being returned for warranty (paint) issues. Those two trailers probably weighed in no more than 3200 lbs combined.
Hand calculated, I had an overall trip average of 12. 150 mpg (13. 9 per EVIC). The average mph was 52. 9. Total miles were 524... 97 unloaded miles and 427 loaded miles.
The dump trailers were this type :

I'm at 2420 miles now, and the DEF gauge is just barely below 1/4 tank. I picked up 2 2. 5 gallon jugs here in Berea, KY Saturday :

Somehow or other I've managed to stay at 0 idle hours with 47 drive hours... . for an overall average mph of 51. 502.
Thought I'd post up some more numbers.....
Last Friday, June 14th, I hauled a 1951 Buick Eight from Winchester, KY to Riceville, TN. Although the trip was 509 miles, I filled up 31 miles from home so this tank is a great reflection on this run.
Hand calculated, I had an overall trip average of 15. 226 mpg (16. 6 per EVIC). The average mph was 57. 8. Total miles were 478... . 232 unloaded miles and 246 loaded miles; 31. 406 gallons consumed, 8:16 hours elapsed.
The ol' Buick had a 262 or 263 cubic inch straight (inline) 8 cylinder... . with three on the tree.
