Need help finding a Tractor Part

I have a 2014 dodge dart. The mpg meter acts kind of weird and I wondered if anyone had seen this before.

It actually does a couple of things weird. If I get home and reset the mpg meter, it goes to 0 as it should. But when I come back out to the car (15 minutes, next day), it will read some mpg. Quite often what it read just before I reset it. Or I might be sitting in the car, not moving, engine running, and reset the meter. It will go to 0. But a few minutes later, still not moving, it might start to show some mpg.

Another thing it might do is, if I stop at a light for example, and would have expected the shown mpg to decrease, it doesnt degrease at all. Not until after Ive driven a ways more.

I took it to the dealer. They said everything checks out fine.

Anyone heard of this before ?

I believe that they are set to START at the last avg MPG when they are rest. Have you read the owners manual and seen what it said?

Ive owned driven a lot of cars with mpg computers. Everyone has started over again when reset, and not one has gained mpg when sitting idleing.
