Evic message said no oil pressure. Stopped truck and checked oil and it was full. All filters are new. Started truck and the message went away. Oil pressure is within specs. Could this be a bad oil sensor?

Happened to me a couple of years ago. I never discovered the problem or cause and it never reappeared. I wonder if this is recorded in ECM history, and if it is held in ECM history, I wonder for how long. And could it be used to deny warranty?

Pull an oil sample and make sure you don't have fuel in the oil thinning it out. Oil filter failure is a possibility so save the oil filter and the recommended course of action is change the oil. Have you have verified the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? Did you just change the oil and got the message from a dry oil filter?

Most oil filter failures spit a chunk into a cooling nozzle an take out a piston. When that happens you will know with a knock that will scare the stuff out of you
