2014 lowering kit

Are there any lowering kits available for a 2014 2500 2wd ? A couple inches would even help with entry / exit to the cab and bed.

I dont know if you have mobility issues, but what about getting steps? If you lower these trucks you lose clearance, suspension articulation, as well as either ride comfort or payload capacity. If none of this is a concern, I wish you luck. My google foo has failed at finding anything useful. I can find stuff for the 1500s but nothing for 2500/3500 past 2010.

You might just go to a suspension shop and ask them to do something custom. I'm sure it wouldn't be too terribly hard for them to fabricate some drop brackets or, at the very least, get some drop springs that will work with your setup.

x2 on steps. My likes the placement of the wheel-to-wheel step option that cost $600 in 2013. They are low enough to help, and just barely high enough for my "full size" body to squeeze underneath my 4x4.

Thanks guys, I didn't find anything was hoping someone else would know. I'll get some steps to make it easier to get in and out, in the end it's probably a safer way to go. Wife commented that the van we had before had a step built in right inside the door and thats all she needs.

Keny - Depending on how much you want to pay for steps, they also have retractable steps. I've been obsessed with these things since I saw them some years ago. I'm sure there are other brands, but AMP Research is the only ones I'm familiar with.

When wife and I went shopping for truck, she wanted a 2x6 because of height, based on previous dually vs MY 4x4...<G> Ordered '14 2wd dually sight unseen, and found it only about 11/2" lower than a 4wd... we were a little surprised. That step Joe mentioned is the way we went, and has made all the difference. The AMP step is awesome, best out there, but pricy. Using the step makes washing the flipping windshield a possibility without incorporating a sky hook. It's the way to go. Greg
