Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I've got a 2014 Ram 3500 with the Aisin. Shifter boot on lever has torn. Ordered a new one and its in hand.
Looks like it may be quite the procedure to get the boot on there unless I grease the big shifter knob, but I don't want to do that. Is there an easier way I can remove this shifter lever and get it on through the smaller side that goes inside the column or is that a ton of work due to wiring inside? I've looked online for a procedure but couldn't find anything.
