Hey everyone my 2015 6.7 had the water light come on. I drained the filters and replaced them. truck started running very rough and has a message come on the dash that their was an issue with the electronc throttle sensor. i reset it by turning key on for 2 seconds back to off then on for 10 seconds back to off and on for 2 seconds back to off now truck will crank over but not start. have attempted several times and nothing. Fuel pump is working and have good fuel under the hood. anyone experience this before or any thoughts?

Do you have any way to monitor rail pressure? You might pull a couple lines off the injectours and crank to see if you have clean fuel there.

Reboot the vehicle first before you start messing with the mechanic.
To me it sounds more like an electronic glitch.

Yes and no, disconnect both batterys and then touch together plus and minus wires to discharge every capacitor within the whole system.
Then reconnect batterys, that reboots it. Takes only a couple of minutes.

Have you ensured that the filters have been properly primed from the change?

No leaks?

In addition to this I would put a full charge on the batteries. Sound can be deceiving for cranking.

So I disconnected all the battery terminals touched them together. Hooked everything back up, then put it on the charger overnight. I tried cranking it over and it cranked strong but no fire. Once it quit cranking the service electronic throttle control came up on the dash. I was under the impression if the etc was bad the truck would atleast fire but run very rough? I'm about out of options for what I'm able to do with this situation

Does your truck have the security plug under the dash?

Mine did something similar to this a long time ago and it turned out to be that plug. So I cut it out spliced the wires together and never looked back.

You could also make sure the plug for your go pedal is fully connected.
