2013 Ram Intermittent Stumbling From Stop

New batteries now low battery sign

Also got a vacuum problem recently. If it's really hot outside after about an hour of driving the door that switches from vent to defrost switches and it will only blow out of the defroster. Once I park it for a while and everything cools off it goes back to working.

Check the rubber elbow on the vacuum pump. It may be cracked or swelled up and won’t seal when it gets hot. You can replace it with a Dorman 47092. I know O’Reilly’s has them for less than $10. The hard plastic lines will break if you look at them hard. You can use air brake tubing to replace it and vacuum hose to splice them.

You can put 2 seals in the same bore? You have my attention on this hack.

Yes, sir, at least on the 5.9’s.

As much as I like this truck I might have to walk away. She called the dealer to make an appointment, and service guy told her no way it's leaking and not to bring it in. Bless her heart now she's kind of playing hardball saying that I can take it or leave it but the transmission isn't getting checked out

so take it to your mechanic and have it checked out.

My 2003 was a similar situation and they forgot about blowing the engine and patching it back up. I dumped so money in it that I will only buy new now as it’s cheaper than a gamble again…

For any used purchase: Find out if you can get a warranty from your bank etc. preferably a MOPAR warranty.

Thanks guys for all of your help and suggestions. I passed on that truck and found the one that I really wanted. I found a 2020 with the HO motor and Aisin transmission with only 36,000 miles on it. Only one problem, it's black. I'm not prejudice or anything like that, but black shows every water spot and speck of dirt. Oh and it gets really hot. My shop will be done soon and it won't be in the sun after that. It's so nice having a truck were everything works good. I love my old 12valve, but I didn't even have to turn off the motor getting a coffee at the drive thru in the new truck.
