Maybe someone here can help?
When we are traveling, we frequently find ourselves midway along a route (using nav always) when we decide that we want to look for something, say a rest area. In my previous vehicle there was a category for "along route" whenever we were looking. That way you don't find yourself exiting a highway, or driving through the "wrong neighborhood"...
I haven't figured out a work around for his in the Ram.
I can search Yelp, I can voice search the nav database but I can't even see things on the map? Am I missing something here???

Just looked quick and found this in the 2016 online owners manual....looks like it is a verbal command only???

That leads exactly to my issue. The nearest coffee shop might in fact be behind me or in a neighborhood near the highway!
Without being able to see the poi's on a map or without the "along route" option, it makes this feature rather useless unless I'm willing to simply drive 3 miles to the next exit, turn around drive in the other direction all to get to a spot I'd just passed!
It's about the only thing my Ford did better than this Ram...
I was hoping that there is something I'm missing here and haven't discovered it yet.

The voice control is probably brilliant in silent office lab where FCA engineers created this but hauling down the highway with wind etc background noise, it's utterly useless.

If that wasn't enough, that POS doesn't recognize my horrible accent, talk about language barrier and discrimination

Don't get me started with pathetic maps...

I rather use Garmin with lifetime maps than the integrated unit
